防制洗錢及打擊資恐的議題，現階段已成為國際金融監理重點，華南金控為提升洗錢防制及打擊資恐意識，舉行洗錢防制教育訓練，邀請法務部調查局洗錢防制處調查官授課，對象包括金控內各公司的董監事及高階主管，內容涵蓋國際防制洗錢及打擊資恐規定與監理趨勢、相互評鑑說明，及執行重點等。
為防制洗錢及打擊資恐，今年上半年各券商、期貨業者及投信公司的防洗錢及打擊資恐專責主管必須完成24小時的課程，另外營業單位督導主管也要上12小時的課，才能符合金管會要求的資格條件，證期局估算，116家券商及其906個營業單位、期貨商15家及18個營業單位、38家投信，共有1,224人要在半年內上完課程。
華南金控董事長吳當傑表示，為防杜重大犯罪者利用金融機構等管道洗錢，並於交易之際發現可疑跡象，各國均以法律課以金融機構申報可疑交易的義務，並成立負責受理、分析可疑交易報告的金融情報中心（Financial Intelligence Unit, FIU），而我國法務部調查局便扮演此一角色，該局洗錢防制處更是我國打擊金融犯罪以及洗錢防制工作的第一線，有最專業、經驗最豐富的實務工作者。
吳當傑指出，洗錢防制是需要長久落實的事，華南金除委請顧問輔導，並由三道防線彼此互相配合，完善內部控制。華南金旗下的華南銀行也成立防制洗錢及打擊資恐專責單位，於法遵暨法務部下成立洗錢防制科，並委請外部顧問提供諮詢以確保相關規章及制度合規性。
此外，他指出，華銀也落實海外分行法令遵循制度的監督與管理，已訂定強化國外分支機構管理的內部規章，要求海外分行每年聘請適格的專業獨立顧問，以協助其檢視自行評估內容及內部規章的合規性，並要求海外分行視實際需求聘用適任人員及建置當地法規資料庫。
在外界關切蒂芙尼(Tiffany & Co)的財務表現之際，這家知名頂級珠寶業者的執行長(CEO)庫曼儂(Frederic Cumenal)已黯好康然下台。
總部位於紐約的蒂芙尼5日宣布，庫曼儂的離職立即生效，公司已開始尋覓他的接班人。庫曼儂是在2011年加入蒂芙尼，並在2015年4月被任命為CEO。
據指出，董事會主席、同時也是前CEO柯瓦斯基(Michael Kowalski)，將在過度時期暫代該職。
根據柯瓦斯基的聲明，蒂芙尼董事會表示，雖然庫曼儂對公司的長期成長有所建樹，但近來的財務結果令人失望。
蒂芙尼去年11月曾公布優於預期的季獲利和盈收財報，但上個月表示，年終耶誕假期的銷售成績不如預期。
